Shafqat Malik is Chief Financial Officer at Aldar. In this role he is responsible for financing strategy of Aldar and its subsidiaries. In addition, he is also responsible for information technology, business development and management of non-core operations including theme parks, golf courses, marinas, fund management and Joint Ventures.

Shafqat has spent the last 10 years in the property sector, 4 were spent as Finance Director at Mapeley. Prior to joining Mapeley, he held senior finance positions at Regus PLC and Lease Plan based in United Kingdom.

Shafqat is a chartered certified accountant and corporate treasurer by profession with over 10 years of senior financial management experience.
