As Presenting Partner of LIVEX and Official Real Estate Partner of Manchester City, Aldar will be at ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi from 29 September to 1 October 2026, sharing the places, partnerships and ideas shaping its next chapter.

Places that shape Abu Dhabi

From leisure and culture to homes and workplaces, Aldar's destinations have become part of the way people experience Abu Dhabi.

On Yas Island, Yas Marina Circuit is home to the Formula 1 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, at the heart of a destination shaped by leisure and entertainment. On Saadiyat Island, culture, coastline and residential communities come together in a destination shaped around how people live and spend their time.

The circular building developed by Aldar has also become a familiar part of Abu Dhabi's skyline, while Yas Island and Saadiyat Island continue to offer new places to live, visit and experience the city.

Inspiring bright minds

Education is an important part of connected communities, bringing learning closer to where people live.

Aldar Education welcomes over 38,000 students across 27 owned and managed schools in the 2026/27 academic year. Enrolment at Aldar-owned schools has increased by over 10% year on year, and Rugby School Dubai opened this academic year as Rugby School's first campus in the UAE.

With many schools located alongside the communities they serve, education becomes closely connected to everyday life, bringing students, families and communities together.

Wellbeing designed into daily life

At Fahid Island, wellbeing is planned into how people will move through and experience their surroundings.

As Abu Dhabi's first coastal wellness destination, Fahid Island holds a Fitwel 3-Star rating and is the first Fitwel-certified island globally. Its masterplan includes a mangrove boardwalk, a 10km running loop and three cycling routes connected to Abu Dhabi's cycle loop.

Together, these spaces are designed to make walking, cycling and time outdoors a natural part of daily life for future residents.

Connected communities for everyday living

Daily life becomes more connected when homes, services and shared spaces are planned together.

Across Aldar's integrated communities, homes sit alongside schools, retail, green spaces and everyday amenities, bringing more of what residents need within easy reach.

In Dubai, Haven is Aldar's first residential community in the emirate, extending this integrated approach into a new city.

Retail as part of everyday life

Retail destinations play a wider role in communities, bringing together shopping, dining, leisure and time spent with others.

Yas Mall, The Galleria Luxury Collection and Al Jimi Mall each serve a different part of daily life across Abu Dhabi and Al Ain, offering places to shop, dine, meet and spend time.

Yas Mall and The Galleria Luxury Collection now sit within Aldar's retail partnership with Mubadala, an AED 9.8 billion platform bringing two of Abu Dhabi's leading retail destinations together.

Growing into new markets

Aldar's community-led approach is reaching new markets as its international presence grows.

In Egypt, Aldar acquired a majority stake in SODIC, one of the country's leading real estate developers, in partnership with ADQ in 2021. Two years later, its acquisition of London Square marked Aldar's first expansion outside the MENA region. In the first half of 2026, London Square recorded three new launches, and in June it acquired Lillie Square in West London.

Together, these markets extend Aldar's residential expertise from Abu Dhabi to Egypt and the UK.

Partnerships with global reach

Long-term partnerships bring together investment, expertise and global reach to support continued growth.

Aldar's partnership with Apollo brought USD 1.4 billion of long-term investment into its growth initiatives in 2022, at the time representing one of the largest foreign direct investments into Abu Dhabi's private sector. In 2026, Apollo invested a further USD 1 billion in subordinated hybrid notes, its fifth investment in Aldar, taking total commitments since 2022 to approximately USD 2.9 billion.

As Official Real Estate Partner of Manchester City, Aldar works with the club across real estate, retail and football education, and connects with audiences through the club's stadium and digital channels.
