Aldar Sales Surpass AED 5 Billion in the Week Leading to Livex Abu Dhabi

Strong sales across Talay and Yas Riva Reserve reflect continued demand for two of Abu Dhabi’s most sought-after destinations
54% of buyers were first-time Aldar customers, attracted by waterfront living, family-focused design, and access to the wider lifestyle offerings of Saadiyat Island and Yas Island
UAE nationals accounted for 31% of buyers, while expatriate residents and overseas buyers accounted for 69% of sales

Abu Dhabi, UAE – 29 September 2026: Aldar today announced it has generated more than AED 5 billion in sales across the launches of Talay and Yas Riva Reserve. The announcement comes as Abu Dhabi hosts the inaugural Liveability and Investment Exhibition (LIVEX), a global forum exploring how liveability drives long-term economic and social value. The strong sales performance reinforces the positive momentum in the emirate’s residential real estate market and its growing appeal as a place to live and invest.

Talay marks the first residential community within Marsa Al Saadiyat, while Yas Riva Reserve is a new gated waterfront community to the northeast of Yas Island. Together, the developments build on the distinct character of Saadiyat and Yas Islands, contributing to the exceptional quality of life that continues to define Abu Dhabi.

At Talay, residents are placed at the heart of Marsa Al Saadiyat, the AED 100 billion waterfront destination that activates the final phase of Saadiyat Island’s masterplan and will ultimately be home to more than 58,000 residents. The wider destination brings together Abu Dhabi’s largest marina, 5.6 kilometres of beaches, and a one-kilometre waterfront promenade, alongside waterfront dining and hospitality, three schools, and extensive walking and cycling routes. Spanning approximately 6.4 million square metres and eight kilometres of coastline, Marsa Al Saadiyat will offer direct connections to Saadiyat Cultural District and an underground Etihad Rail high-speed rail station, further enhancing connectivity.

Meanwhile, Yas Riva Reserve offers the privacy and tranquillity alongside the waterfront while seamlessly connecting to the energy of Yas Island through a new bridge that will create an additional entry point to the world class destination. Interconnected linear parks, pocket gardens, and landscaped open spaces will encourage movement, outdoor activity, and social connection.
