The UAE comprises of seven independently run emirates; Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al Qawayn, Ras Al Khidmah and Fujairah. The UAE is a politically stable country with a strong business environment and second largest economy in the GCC.
GDP for the UAE has seen strong growth over the last decade reaching USD399 billion in FY2014, of which non-oil GDP accounts for 66%. This represents a 58% growth in GDP over the last five years and diversification away from oil related GDP.
The UAE is the second largest economy in the GCC with a population of 9.3 million people, predominantly across Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
